Synergy Health Partners | Mendelson Kornblum Sponsors the Arthritis Foundation’s 2021 Jingle Bell Run

Arthritis Foundation Jingle Bell Run

Synergy Health Partners | Mendelson Kornblum is proud to be a sponsor of the Arthritis Foundation’s 2021 Jingle Bell Run – Detroit, MI. The Arthritis Foundation’s original Jingle Bell Run is a fun way to get decked out and be festive, while racing to raise funds and awareness to cure America’s #1 cause of disability. But if you know us at Synergy | MKO, you know we do more than just write the check….We are excited to participate in the 2021 event from start to finish. Literally, Team “Ortho Wonderland” can be found at event registration, along the race route as “Route Entertainers”, walking, running, and finally some are volunteering as “Finish Greeters”.

When asked if Synergy CEO, Dan Cresco would be participating in this year’s AF Jingle Bell Run he replied, “I am going to do my best impersonation of a runner that day to support this great cause and I’ll probably end up creating some extra orthopedic work for one of our Mendelson Kornblum physicians as I make the attempt.

Pearl Dua, PAC-C, who manages our dynamic team of Physician Assistants is also running. “For me running, not only helps me stay physically fit but also helps me connect to myself emotionally. It helps me maintain balance.

Team “Ortho Wonderland” does have one special, stand out star -Shiloh.  Shiloh is the beloved beagle of Synergy’s CFO/COO Dennis Viellieu. “You’ve got to use them or lose them….joints that is.   We want to remind people that motion is lotion and we need to all keep our joints in motion. This event is one way we encourage both our patients and employees to do just that.” Dennis is a long-time supporter of this event and many more that help fund research for arthritis. And his training buddy Shiloh is definitely a wagger to watch out for! You’ll want to check out Synergy’s social media as Shiloh may be posting tips and tricks on how to “safely train” for an outdoor, cold-weather event like the December 11th Jingle Bell run.

The Arthritis Foundation’s mission is to boldly pursue a cure for America’s #1 cause of disability, while championing the fight against arthritis with life-changing resources, science, advocacy and community connections. Nationwide for 70 years, in ONE community after another, the Arthritis Foundation has taken colossal steps to conquer this crippling disease.

As you can imagine the Arthritis Foundation is an organization that is near and dear to our hearts. Team “Ortho Wonderland” is looking forward to Saturday, December 11th.
