Dr. Shironda Stewart graduated from Michigan State University with her bachelor degree and received her Medical Degree from Michigan State University College of Medicine. She finished her Internal Medicine Residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine before completing her Rheumatology Fellowship at the University of Michigan. Within her expertise of Rheumatic Disease, Dr. Stewart has a special interest in gout, fracture prevention and bone health.  She recently collaborated with other practice specialists including orthopedics, nursing, and physician assistants to help create a fracture prevention and post fracture care program called “Own the Bone”.

Dr. Stewart has been voted by southeast Michigan’s medical professionals as Hour Detroit magazine’s 2017 Top Docs in Rheumatology.
