Herbert Mendelson, MD

Dr. Herbert Mendelson graduated from Wayne State University before attending medical school at the University of Michigan. After graduation, Dr. Herbert completed an internship at Harper Hospital and returned to Wayne State where he attended the Orthopaedic Training Program, training in a number of area hospitals and outpatient settings including Grace, Harper, Detroit Receiving, the Detroit Orthopaedic Clinic and the Dearborn VA Hospital.  Upon completing his training and becoming Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Herbert entered private practice and treated patients throughout the Metro Detroit area before settling into the Livonia area where he has practiced for many years.  Dr. Herbert practices general orthopedics in our Livonia office and is on staff at St. Mary Mercy Livonia Hospital.
