Spinal Fluid (CSF) Leak Headaches
Low CSF volume leads to a postural headache, which will worsen when sitting or standing and improve when lying flat. Headache pain may also be accompanied by:
- Neck stiffness
- Ringing in ears
- Light sensitivity
- Nausea
An epidural blood patch is used to treat this type of headache.
