Tony Badia, PTA

Tony graduated from the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Macomb Community College in May 2011. He received his PTA state license in August 2011, and was excited to start his second career. Prior to going back to school, Tony had been working in the print advertising field.

As part of the curriculum at MCC, Tony spent one of his clinical rotations at Mendelson Kornblum Physical Therapy. He was highly regarded by the staff and patients, and was asked to join Mendelson Kornblum full-time after he completed his studies.

For his part, Tony was also impressed with the Mendelson Kornblum physical therapists and facilities, and was thrilled to join the team. Tony works hand-in-hand with the PTs and physicians, guiding patients through orthopedic, sports medicine, and pain management therapeutic treatments and programs.

Tony has a background and interest in martial arts, which he has pursued for several years. He calls himself a “Michigan Wolverine football fanatic” and loves to watch his favorite team play. Tony is also a “huge fan” of his family, and he enjoys spending time together whenever they get the chance.
